International Education Week 2007

The University of Connecticut will celebrate International Education Week from November 8 to 15, 2007. Among the activities scheduled below are the annual World Fest and the new International Film Series.

Thursday, November 8

2-4 pm: Welcoming remarks by Dr. Michael J. Hogan, UConn President, followed by "When Numbers Count: The Practice of Combating Human Trafficking from Colombia to Japan," Robert G. Mead, Jr., Lecture by Dr. Kay Warren, Brown University.

4-5 pm: "Global Responsibility: Living Wage, Fair Labor Practices, and Eco-Sustainability."
